I love Turkey and some Central Asian Muslim nations with their cosmopolitan, international and modern culture.
Hopefully these dramas will inspire Pakistanis and imbue in them a more sense of style and fashion.
I believe we Pakistanis should let go of our gaudy and archaic South-Asian/Desi cultural traditions (shalwar kameez etc.) and adopt a more contemporary culture.
I’m not being unpatriotic, one particular dress shouldn’t be a hallmark of Pakistaniyat.
A three piece suit is as Pakistani as shalwar kameez, it is international.
Shalwar Kamiz was invented by Afghan Buddhists, Sherwani was invented by Iranians as was Jacket/Trouser. So wearing the latter wont make us any less Pakistani.
Geo Kahani should make dramas with the characters (even rural ones) dressed in international/contemporary clothes.
We need to do away with the gaudy/archaic look, it doesn’t do us any favors, gaudy clothes only look nice on brides.
The only thing we should preserve are our languages (because language is the only real hallmark of an ethnicity) and our religion.

I think most of the families have keen interest to watch the CID Program.
But it is very difficult to us to restrain the school going children to watch this program, their education is suffering, their health, sleeping is going to worst.
I humbly requested the management of Geo Kahani to kindly change the time of CID as in past i.e. 10.00 p.m., please.
We cannot switch off the TV before 11.30 p.m.
If it is not possible to change the time than repeat it next day afternoon.
